WEIGHT OF BUSINESS CARD
What is GSM? GSM is the density of grams per square meter. This means how many grams of weight per square meter of paper sheet. GSM and paper thickness can be easily mistaken because GSM does not define the thickness of the paper. Cardstock is produced from different fibres and in different ways, so the thickness of the same GSM cardstock can vary greatly.

Supplying your own artwork?
When supplying own artwork please ensure all images are converted to CMYK format and fonts are converted to outlines. Also, provide a minimum 3mm trim and bleed around artwork with crop marks. Artwork files are preferred to be supplied to us in PDF format with all layers flattened.

Gloss, Matt or Uncoated?
What type of business card finish?
Celloglazed cards have a thin sheet of film adhered to cards using both heat and pressure, providing gloss or matte finish to enhance the appearance and feel of cards.
Uncoated Finish
Uncoated finish has no coating to fill in between the fibres. It is rougher than coated finish and tends to be more porous, which makes it very absorbent. Images printed on uncoated paper will be softer and less crisp. Uncoated papers are great options for novels and books writing with a pen.
Matt Coated Finish
Matt enhances visual designs without much glare. It has a more flat or muted feel than gloss. Matt finish is great for designs with lots of text because matt paper changes less under light. Matt is typically used for premium looking brochures, business cards, posters and flyers.
Gloss Coated Finish
Gloss has a shiny and bright finish which is why it’s typically used for brochures, stickers, posters and flyers. Coating is applied to the paper and a roller is used to polish the paper. It fills in the tiny spaces between the fibres, giving it a smooth service.

We make the whole process of ordering simple and easy.
Step 1
Complete the ‘Request Quote’ form to send us your requirements.
Please attached your artwork or design files and include any additional information to help us with your order.
Step 2
Once we receive your ‘quote request’ one of our friendly representatives will contact you the same day (Monday to Friday) with a price.
Step 3
Our talented design team will then create your artwork and send you digital proofs for your approval. Reply to us with any changes to the artwork and our designers will make adjustments to the design and re-send to you.
Step 4
Once printing is complete our production team will commence printing.
When complete, we email confirmation informing your printing has been wrapped and dispatched with one of our reliable national express couriers.
